You are in the section: Folklore / Truth is Stranger than Fiction
You will enjoy this first volume of the “Proverbs and Songs of Pétaouchnock” as you would enjoy a Poetry book. It is filled with words that resonate with the big and small questions of life. The proverbs are rich with an age-old wisdom which is still very accurate and relevant and allows the reader to put things in perspective.
The “Songs” part is very interesting as well and if you were to play or sing these songs you will soon notice that the tunes vary, from boisterous waltzes to soothing lullabies, and that birds, children, pets and plants all react to these songs. No wonder as they were created in another age to incite a response from all forms of life on Earth.
